Obituary of Pasquale Ruocco

Pasquale Ruocco Sr. 88, of East Haven, passed away November 26, 2014 at CT Hospice. He was born April 12, 1926 in New Haven to the late John and Trofimena (Salzano) Ruocco. Pasquale is the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his loving wife of over 66 years, Dorothy (Cusano) Ruocco and three children; Pasquale Ruocco Jr. (Barbara) of Branford, Barbara Mariano (Ronald) of East Haven and Donna Peltier (Jim) of Minnesota. Pasquale is also survived by eight grandchildren; Pasquale Ruocco III, Jennifer Ruocco, Michelle Escobar, Gina Gambardella, Ronald Mariano Jr., Ashley Peltier, Jessica Sinkinson, Elias Peltier and seven great grandchildren. Pasquale was a US Army veteran and owner and butcher of Lighthouse Market for over 51 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Anchor Club and donated his time to the Little Sisters of the Poor in Enfield. He loved to cook, watch boxing and spending time with his family. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven and again from 9 to 10 AM on Tuesday, December 2. Funeral Service will begin at 10 AM on Tuesday in Clancy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford with military honors.
