Ann (Jones) Barth, 90, of East Haven passed away February 3, 2015 in Greenville, N.C. She was born March 18, 1924 in New Haven to Emil and Anna (Karthaus) Seipold. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George “Red” Barth, son, Gordon Jones, and brothers, William and Frederick Seipold. Ann is survived by son, Michael “Mickey” Jones, of East Haven, daughter, Sandra Jones of North Carolina, five grandchildren: Derek Jones, Brittany Jones, Ryan Jones, Janae Freeman, Sarah Dodson (Eric) and four great-grandchildren: Emma, Veronica, Nathan and Aidan as well as her brother Peter Seipold, wife Roberta and sister Lois Gann Lemmon and husband Lee and many nieces and nephews. Ann was a retired employee of J. Press Clothing in New Haven with over 25 years of service. She enjoyed working so much that she then went to work at Long’s Florist in East Haven and finally retired in her 80s. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in St. Bernadette Church, 385 Townsend Ave., New Haven. Committal to follow in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernadette School, 385 Townsend Ave., New Haven, CT, 06512 or St. Joseph’s Indian School, PO Box 300, Chamberlain, SD 57325-0300 in memory of Ann Barth.
