Winnifred Poirot 106 of East Haven, passed away February 21, 2015 at the Mary Wade House. She is the devoted wife of the late Charles A. Poirot. She was born February 8, 1909 in Hastings, England to Louis and Elinor (Coxon) Ortner. Winnifred is preceded in death by husband, parents and siblings; Dorothy Laydon, Ethel Reilly, Phyllis Munroe and a grandnephew, John B. Laydon Jr. She is survived by nephew, John Laydon (Carla) of North Haven.
Winnifred was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in East Haven. All services are private with Clancy Funeral Home of East Haven.
