Obituary of Anna Bimonte

Anna (DePino) Bimonte 87 of East Haven, passed away March 24, 2015 at CT Hospice. She was born June 8, 1927 in New Haven to Alessio and Rose (Conforte) DePino. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 66 years, Gaetano “Guy” Bimonte, daughter, Diane Collins, brothers, Alphonse DePino, James DePino, sisters, Rose Leone, Josephine Maselli and Carmel Belloni.. Anna is survived by loving children; Joann Morra (Joe), Theresa Blanchard (Robert), Marianne Bimonte, Guy Bimonte Jr. (Katie) all of East Haven. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Joseph Morra, Chris Morra, Kathy Mastranni (Ricky), Cheryl Collins, Robert Blanchard III (Anna), Debbie Blanco (Allen), two great grandchildren; Isabella and Mia Blanco,a sister, Mary Arcucci of East Haven and son-in-law, John Collins. Anna and her husband where owners of Guy’s Moving for over 37 years, she also retired from Echlin with over 17 years of service. Her family was of the upmost importance throughout her life; Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She took great pride in her family, she loved them all. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and going to Florida with her husband, Guy. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM (TODAY), Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Friday, March 27 at 9:45 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Clare Church, 234 Coe Ave, East Haven with Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
