Nicholas Liso 95 of East Haven passed away March 27, 2015 at Branford Hills. He was born October 21, 1919 in New Haven to Michele and Angelina (Lapenna) Liso. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Antoinette (Pascarella) Liso and a sister, Sabina Palmieri. Nicholas is survived by two loving sons, Michael Liso (Theresa) of East Haven, Richard Liso (Susan) of Branford, two grandchildren, Michael Liso (Alicia), Kimberly Perez (Luis) and two great-grandchildren, Daniella and Kiera Liso. Nicholas is also survived by a sister Dorothy Guarino, two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Nicholas was a US Army veteran of WWII, former employee of Winchester Guns for 12 years and manager of Orange Light Fixtures with over 43 years of service, retiring at the age of 84. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Family will receive friends on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 4 – 7 PM at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven and again on Tuesday from 10:15 AM until the time of service at 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow with military honors at East Lawn Cemetery. Donation may be made to Branford Hills Trust Fund, 189 Alps Rd, Branford, CT, 06405 in memory of Nicholas Liso.
