Obituary of Lucille Flynn

Lucille Flynn 83 of East Haven passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2015. She was born December 12, 1931 in New Haven to George and Mary (Conroy) Mancini. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur Flynn (1997), son, Charles Flynn, brothers, Michael and George Mancini and sisters, Margaret Sakonchick and Maryanne Vandermaelen. Lucille is survived by three loving children; Patricia Gervais (Donald) of Wallingford, Michelle Linsley (Robert) of Wallingford and William Flynn (Elizabeth) of SC, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Lucille is also survived by sister, Phyllis Kaercher (Walter) of North Haven and brother, Joseph Mancini of East Haven and his wife, Catherine, who’s kind, compassionate and professional care was greatly appreciated. Lucille worked for many years as a bank teller at Dime Savings Bank and New Haven Savings Bank. She took great pride in her 9 grandchildren and her 5 great grandchildren affectionately known as “Nana.” Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven and again on Friday, May 1 from 10:30 AM until the time of service at 11 AM in the Clancy Funeral Home. Committal will follow at East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven.
