Obituary of Anna Vercillo

Anna (Grava) Vercillo 96 of New Haven passed away June 26, 2015 at Gladeview Health Care in Old Saybrook. She was born November 28, 1918 in New Haven to Angelo and Catherine Grava. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur J. Vercillo (2001) and brothers, John and Joseph Grava. Anna is survived by two sons, Arthur Vercillo (Maura) of Essex and Robert Vercillo (Joanne) of Guilford and four grandchildren, Paul Vercillo, Andrew Vercillo (Danielle), Erica Vercillo, Matthew Vercillo. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, Carmen Vercillo, Andrew Vercillo Jr. “AJ”, Anna Vercillo and Giulia Vercillo. Anna was a member of the East Haven Seniors, New Haven Jolly Times and she enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 9:30 AM until 10:40 AM at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home at 10:40 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
