Victoria (Bianco) Onorato 89 of East Haven passed away peacefully on August 8, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 25, 1926 on Fair Street, New Haven to Peter and Elsie (Capone) Bianco. She is preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Rinaldo Onorato. Vicki is survived by her sister, Marie (Snook-e) Bianco of The Villages, FL; two loving daughters, Karyn Kalaha Rapuano of Branford, CT and Rene Onorato Mamouzellos (Saki) of Walpole, MA; three grandchildren, Peter Ramada (Louise), James Michael Rapuano and David Rapuano. Vicki is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Victoria Ramada, Danielle Ramada, Angelina Ramada, Peter J. Ramada and Halle Rapuano. She would get her greatest pleasures from simple things in life. Spending time with friends and family, playing cards, enjoying the sun at the beach, reading and helping others. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Victoria spent the last 22 years working for the State of Connecticut as a caregiver to the mentally challenged. Family will receive friends from 3:30 to 6:30 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Thursday (Same day) at 6:40 PM for a sunset Mass of Christian Burial at 7 PM in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church (Route 80), East Haven. Committal will be private at St. Lawrence Cemetery on Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vicki’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
