Dan Teevan Watson Jr., 41, of East Haven, passed away August 10, 2015. He was born July 7, 1974, in New Haven to Daniel Teevan, Sr. and Josephine (Cipriani) Watson of East Haven. Dan is survived by his loving parents, former wife Caroline M Leary and loving mother of his three children whom he adored: Conor Grant Leary-Watson (16), Caelan Fiona Watson (13), Liam Daniel Teevan Watson (9); and a sister, Marybeth Watson of North Haven. Dan is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Josephine “Nonnie” Cipriani and his aunt, Jeanette Freund (widow of Arthur Freund). He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Louis Cipriani, and his paternal grandmother, Rita (O’Callaghan) Watson. Dan was a graduate of St. Francis School on Ferry Street in 1988; he graduated from Notre Dame High School in West Haven in 1992.He worked at Yale New Haven Hospital for 5 years in material services and later for 16 years with AMR as an EMT; He also was a past member of the North Branford Fire Department Co. 4 serving as Lt./EMT . Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church, Ferry Street, New Haven, on Friday, August 14, 2015. The committal service will be private at All Saints Cemetery. Donations for Dan's children's education can be made to the Watson family c/o New Haven Postal Employees Federal Credit Union, 50 Brewery Street, New Haven CT 06511, c/o Giuliana Gioiosa.
