Stephanie Merejildo, 21, of New Bedford, MA, passed away unexpectedly on May 18, 2017, in Dartmouth, MA. She was born in Bronx, New York on March 18, 1996 to Edgaedme “Eimy” Ruiz and the late Miguel Merejildo. She leaves her fiancé Steven Melendez, their two children, Joenaliz Melendez and Steven Melendez, Jr., along with her five siblings; Tahis Caraballo, Tomas Ruiz, Zilkya Valentin, Cristal Merejildo, Alex Xavier Ruiz. Stephanie is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Sonia Hilerio.
Family will receive friends from 4 PM until the time of service at 6 PM on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, CT. Burial will be private.
