Ralph P. Desmond Jr. 74 of East Haven passed away August 18, 2017 at CT Hospice. He was born June 13, 1943 in New Haven to Ralph and Lena (Wandelear) Desmond. Ralph is survived by his mother, Lena, his loving wife, Donna (Moreland) Desmond, his sister, Florence (Desmond) Driskell all of East Haven and pet companion, "Patch." Ralph is preceded in death by his father and daughter, Lisa Bartlett. Ralph enjoyed camping, riding the ATV and working in the yard and garage. He was a diesel mechanic who lastly retired from Petro Heating and Oil in North Haven.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday August 22, 2017 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home) 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will gather at Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 23 at 10:30 AM for a graveside service at 11 AM in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. Donations may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford CT 06405 in memory of Ralph P. Desmond Jr.
