Obituary of Christopher Caguana

Please share a memory of Christopher to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Christopher Caguana, 18 years old, went to Heaven on August 27th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Christopher was born on April 30th, 2005 in New Haven, Connecticut, the son of Sandra Idrovo and Ronal Caguana of West Haven, CT. Chris is survived by his parents, his brother Erick, his grandmother Julia Villa, his Godparents Cilvia and Wilson Idrovo, his best friend Mateo, his girlfriend Aylin and many uncles, aunts and cousins that loved him so much. Chris was a student at West Haven High School and a former student at East Haven High School. Chris enjoyed spending time with his friends and his mom. He was a perfectionist and liked everything to be perfectly organized and neat. For him school was most important, he enjoyed going to school and having good grades, he wanted to sign up for college already and volunteered at church to have extra credit, he dreamed of graduating high school with high honors and attending Yale University to be a physician assistant like Dr. Jeff. He always wanted to be busy doing something, if he wasn’t with friends, he would be with his mom driving around to get his favorite foods and drinks, he loved to order Uber-Eats. He would tell all his secrets to his confident, his mom. He was a night owl, sleep during the day and go out at night with mom to drive around places. When in the hospital he would "escape" to others floors or the piano downstairs until the security guard came to tell him not to. He made so many nurse friends at the hospital like Molly, Catherine, Katie and many others. In the middle of night while his mom was asleep he would ask the nurse to take him to the vending machine, buy candy and secretly eat it until one morning his mom found the trace of M&Ms on his bed. Every night he would kiss his mom and tell her in Spanish “my beautiful mother”. He played the piano and loved technology, he had every Apple device there is and he would fix every technology problem in the house. His dad always used to cut his hair and he was very careful with his looks and his hair. He admired his brother Erick because Erick is very athletic and loves to do exercise; he wanted to look good like him. On the weekends he always wanted to have family over at his house to eat and hang out. His grandmother Julia has so many memories with him, he told her that he would get better to go recycle the bottles and go to Walmart like they always did. He loved his pets, Luna and Nico. Even though we are all very sad because he left, we know God needed him in heaven to be an angel, we understand he is at peace now. His journey here on earth left us with many lessons to learn, he never lost faith in God, until the last minute he knew God was by his side, he never gave up, he was a warrior, his main lesson to us and the people he knew is to not stop living life not matter what you're going through, just keep on fighting.
