Katherine I. Swinski Murratti Haycock, 71, of Salt Lake City, Utah, formerly of New Haven passed away Jan. 24,2011 in Salt Lake City with her son by her side. Wife of the late Francis J. Murratti, Richard Jorgenson and Rex Haycock. Beloved mother of Philip Murratti and fiancee Alice Demers of Glastonbury and the late Frank Murratti. Sister of Helen Kelly of East Haven, Mary Meyerholz of Branford, RI, Robert Swinski of North Stonington and Theodore Swinski of East Haven. Born Dec. 10,1939 in New Haven a daughter of the late Philip F. and Mary Dudek Swinski, she was raised and educated in New Haven and moved to Utah twenty eight years ago where she worked as a child care proffesional A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday morning at 10:00 in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven Thursday from 5 - 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or the LDS Philanthropies, 15 E. South Temple, 2nd floor-East, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84150.
