In Branford, March 6,2011, Evelyn M. Page Palmer, 87, of Coe Ave., East Haven. Wife of the late Curtis F. Palmer. Survived by two daughters, Muriel Messercola of Hamden and Carol Edwards of Columbia,a sister Dolores Chapman and a brother Francis Page, both of MI, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. She was predeceased by a son Thomas, a daughter Nancy and two sisters Diana and Violet. Born April 28,1923 in Winchendon,PA, a daughter of the late Francis and Ruth LaRoche Page she was employed for fifty years as a supervisor and instructor at Straus-Adler Co. Evelyn was a devout member of St. Clare Church in East Haven and was a member of the ladies guild of the church and the Catholic Council of Catholic Women. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Friday morning at 10:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare Church at 10:30. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 5-7pm. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
