In New Haven, March 30,2011, Isabelle Vonigas Shamansky, 90, wife of the late William Shamansky. Sister of Adele Dickinson of Pittsburg,PA and the late Beatrice Plienes, Simon Vonigas and Helen Butkas. Aunt of Carol (Christopher) McLaughlin of Woodbridge, Steven (Karen) Vonigas of OK, Robert (Lynn) Butkas of Killingworth, Lisa (Gene) Napadenski of DE, and Robert Dickinson of KS.Also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Born June 28,1920 in New Haven a daughter of the late Simon and Mary Duzinskas Vonigas, she was educated in New Haven schools and worked for a time at the former A.C. Gilbert Co.
Graveside service will be Saturday morning at 10:30 in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Seymour . Memorial contributions may be made to CT. Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
