In New Haven, March 31,2011,surrounded by her loving family, Anna Berra Naimo, 82, of Florence Rd., Branford. Wife of the late Stanley P. Naimo. Beloved mother of Virginia K. Naimo of MD, Rosemary (Dan) Richardson of MD, Stanley P. (Linda) Naimo Jr. of NJ, Arthur Naimo of Branford, Wallace Naimo of FL, Alexander Naimo of FL, and Candice (Ed) Vickerman of Guilford. Grandmother of Allie Richardson, Kyle Naimo, E.J. Vickerman, Daniella Vickerman, Brianna Koscinski and Christopher Naimo.Sister of Maria(Angelo)Fadda of Rome, Italy and the late Vincenzo Berra. Also survived by a sister in law Lina Berra in Italy and several nieces and nephews both here and in Italy. Born Aprill 22,1928 in Rome, Italy a daughter of the late Arturo and Virginia Lagala Berra. She came to this country as a young girl and made her home in Branford. She had worked at Yale -New Haven Hospital as a nurses aid for over thirty years. Anna was a faithful communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in Branford. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 KIrkham Ave., East Haven, Tuesday morning at 8:30. Mass of CHristian Burial in St. Elizabeth Church at 9:00. Interment will be private. Friends may call Monday from 4 - 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Shrine of St. Jude, 205 W. Monroe St., Chicago, IL, 60606.
