In New Haven, June 13,2011, AnnLynne Carlson, 57, of East Haven. Wife of William Gilbert. Mother of Krysta Zanjani of East Haven, Aleksander Zanjani and wife Kristin of Milford and Malena Zanjani of East Haven. Grandmother of Bryton and Lyla Zanjani, Ryan and Keira Huber and Ben and Kit Libby. Step mother of Amy Gilbert-Huber and Sara Gilbert. Sister of Sandra Barker of MD, Kory Kolb of East Haven, Judy Sittnick of East Haven and Martha Carlson of Guilford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and many good friends who were like family to her. Born Feb. 27,1954 in New Haven a daughter of the late Harold O. and Elizabeth Allen Carlson, she was a graduate of East Haven High School, class of 1972 and had worked for over twenty five years as an operations manager for Aggregate Industries. She also was the owner of Annie's House of Crafts in East Haven and along with her daughter Malena, co-owned Little Buds Play Care in East Haven. AnneLynne was an active member of the East Haven Chamber of Commerce and was twice named it's Business Women of the Year. She was also a member of the East Haven Fall Festival Comittee where she was craft co-ordinator and was the creative director of the town Christmas Tree lighting. Friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of Pompeii Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Thursday morning at 9:30. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Wednesday from 4 - 8 pm.
