Obituary of Vincent J. Landino

In CT Hospice, June 20,2011, Vincent J. Landino, 83, of East Haven. Husband of the late Katherine Mingione Landino. Father of Anthony Landino and wife Kristina of Boca Raton,FL and Peg Sullivan and husband John of East Haven. Grandfather of Briana Landino, Vincent Landino, Colin Sullivan and Garrett Sullivan. Brother of the late Raye Cavaliere and Mary Tufano. Born Oct. 1,1927 in New Haven a son of the late Anthony M. and Louise Virgulto Landino, he was a US Navy veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater and was employed as a railroad conductor for over forty five years, first withn the New York-New Haven-Hartford Railroad, then Penn Central, Conrail and lastly Amtrack. Graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to CT.
