In Branford, June 23,2011, Ruth M. Lyons Lynch, 92, of Branford. Beloved wife of the late Edward D. Lynch Jr. Mother of Maria Lynch of East Haven and Edward D."Ted" Lynch III of Seattle,WA. Sister of Matthew (Jean) Lyons of Branford.Aunt of Matthew( Lois)Lyons of Branford. Sister in law of Rev. Robert Lynch of Norwich, Kathleen Lynch of New Haven , Nancy O'Connor of Morris and Linda Lynch of Tempe,AZ. Also survived by many other nieces and nephews. Born June 14,1919 in New Haven a daughter of the late Matthew and Maria Egan Lyons, she was a graduate of Hillhouse High School, class of 1936 and was employed for a time as a book keeper at Majestic Laundry of New Haven. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.Friends may call Tuesday from 5 - 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis-St. Rose of Lima School, 423 Ferry St.,New Haven,CT 06513.
