Obituary of Daniel J. Henry

Daniel J. Henry, 52, of Colorado, formerly of Guilford, died suddenly July,6,2011 in Commerce City,CO. Dan graduated from Guilford High School in 1977 and relocated to Boulder,CO in 1980. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder. In 1994 Dan opened BSWD Designs, a design/build Company focusing on residential design and "green" construction. He specialized in custom design and woodworking. Dan enjoyed spending time in the Rockies, skiing, hiking and biking, but most of all he loved his time at home with his beloved dog,Jet at his side. He was involved in the art group ARTNAUTS, where his photography and print making led him to projects in developing countries. Dan is survived by his parents, Linda and Jack Henry and his brother Jeff Henry, all of Guilford and his close friend Lora Lehan of Denver,CO. Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
