Mary E. Weber of Turtle Bay, Branford died at the Masonic Care Hospital on Aug.12,2011. She was born in East Haven, the daughter of the late Henry and Emilie (Beschel) Weber. She graduated from East Haven High School, Albertus Magnus College and she received her M.A. and 6th year certificate from Fairfield University. Mary taught at East Haven High School for many years and headed the Social Studies Dept. until her retirement. She is survived by her sister, Louise Weber Mulligan of North Haven and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother George Weber of Ledyard.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Taylor Ave., East Haven at 11:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Friends may call Wednesday morning prior to the Mass from 9:00 to 10:30. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
