In Ct. Hospice, Branford, with her loving family at her side, Millicent Collier Briggs, 75,of East Haven. Beloved wife of Arthur C. Briggs Jr.. Loving mother of Arthur C.(Sloka)Briggs III , Michael(Linda)Briggs, Donna Briggs, all of East Haven and the late Dennis Briggs. Cherished grandmother of Dennis,Karla, Alexa,Kelly,Michael and Jenny Briggs. Sister of Dorothy Wiley of Milford, Shirley Tranquilli,Marilyn Eaton, Eleanor Burns,all of West Haven and the late Edwin Collier, Irene Collier, Veronica Strosnick and Anna McMinn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born Oct.1,1935 in West Haven a daughter of the late Edwin and Anna McKiernan Collier.
Graveside service will be held Monday morning at 11:00 in East Lawn Cemetery, East Haven. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions are requested to be made to Ct. Hospice,100 Double Beach Rd.,Branford, Ct 06405 or the Hopkins School 986 Forest Rd., New Haven,CT 06515. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven.
