At home, Sept. 18,2011, Mary Jane Riccitelli Wnek, 88, of Sidney St., East Haven. Wife of the late Joseph E. Wnek. Mother of Theodore J.(Judy)Wnek of Scottsdale ,AZ and Edward J.(Sue) Wnek of East Haven. Grandmother of Brian Wnek,Kristin Russo and Lauren Condosta. Great grandmother of Layla Russo. Sister of Catherine Acampora of AR and the late Pasqual,John,Anthony Riccitelli, Raphaelina Acampora,and Rose DeCrosta. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born Aug.23,1923 in New Haven a daughter of the late John and Antoinette(Argosa) Riccitelli, she was a graduate of East Haven High School and was employed as a substitute teacher in East Haven Schools and later worked at Echlin Manufacturing for over fifteen years. She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church in East Haven. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Thursday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St Vincent de Paul Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Menphis,TN 38105-1905.
