At home, Sept. 27,2011, Robert E. Anthony, 60, of Guilford. Son of Isabelle Brown Anthony of Clinton and the late Wesley Anthony.Beloved father of Michael Anthony of New York City and Jennifer D'Amato and husband Toma of Guilford. Cherished grandfather of Victoria and Jake D'Amato.Brother of Wesley Anthony and wife Debbie of Guilford, Ronald Anthony and wife Theresa of Hamden and Shirley Calvo of Branford.Also surviced by his former wife Elizabeth Laudano Bonaldo. Born Jan.9,1951 in New Haven, he was a graduate of Richard C. Lee High School in New Haven and had attended S.C.S.U. Robert was employed as a truck driver for Federal Express for many years and had served with the CT National Guard. He enjoyed rooting for the Red Sox and NY Giants but his greatest joy came from his children and grandchildren.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven, Saturday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. George Church,Guilford at 10:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4-8pm.
