Obituary of Connelly Margaret

Margaret Morann Connelly,87,of East Haven passed away peacefully on Oct. 17,2011 at CT Hospice. Wife of the late Thomas H. Connelly Sr.(NHFD). Mother of Thomas Connelly Jr.(Paula),Marge Balon (Rob),Joseph Connelly (Janus) and Maureen Connelly. Grandmother of Tara Lawrence(John),Margaret Singmaster(Curtis),Jennifer Balon Taylor(John), Thomas Connelly III,Kelley Violet Connelly and Lauren Balon. Great Grandmother of Sammy and Avery Lawrence. Sister of Rosemary Raw, William Morann Jr.and the late Ester Morann and Joseph Morann. Born Nov.24,1923 in New Haven a daughter of the late William and Marguerite Mulcahey Morann,she was a graduate of Hillhouse High School and had been employed for over twenty years as a telephone operator for SNET. She was a communicant of St. Clare Church in East Haven and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 12 Noon in St. Clare Church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orchard House, 421 Shore Dr., Branford, CT 06405. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
