Obituary of Ruth E. Mascari

At home, Nov.6,2011, Ruth E. Schumann Mascari, 91, of East Haven. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mascari. Mother of her devoted children Joseph T. Mascari and wife Barbara of East Haven, Kathryn Witteman and husband Kenneth of North Haven and Elisa Andrade and husband Ron of East Haven. Sister of Irene Savino and husband Henry of Meriden and the late Albert Laude, Walter Schumann and Doris Preller. Also survived by many grandchildren,great grandchildren,nieces and nephews. Born July 14,1920 in Meriden, a daughter of the late Henry R. and Anna A. Laude, she attended Milford High School. Ruth always considered Meriden her home town and had many fond memories of her life there. She was a member of St. Clare Church in East Haven. Ruth's life revolved around her family. She loved nothing more than taking care of her family and would do anything to ensure their happiness. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven, Thursday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare Church at 9:00. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
