Barbara Lynn Edwards Speranza, 42, of East Haven entered into eternal rest Nov.21,2011 in her home with her loving family at her side.Devoted mother of Santina Speranza and Anthony Speranza. Beloved daughter of Donna Edwards and Raymond Marini. Stepdaughter of Joseph Atkins Sr..Granddaughter of Lillian Edwards and Viola Marini.Loving sister of Gina Devlin. Niece of Mary Lou Edwards,Laura Jean Wise and Susan Oliverio. Aunt of Kayleigh and Courtney Lynn Devlin. Cherished best friend of Danielle Germe and Mary Malloy. Born Feb.14,1969 in New Haven, she had been employed for several years as a waitress at several area resturaunts including Lucibello's and Oyster River in West Haven.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven.Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 8:30-10:00. Memorial contributions may be made to Smilow Cancer Center,PO Box 1849, New Haven,CT 06508-1849.
