In New Haven,Dec.3,2011, Marilyn F. Kennedy,80,formerly of East Haven. Survived by her sister,Marguerite Ring of East Haven, a brother Edward(Vivian) Kennedy of West Haven, her nephew Brian Ring, the person whom she lived for,her great -niece Nikki Lee Trickett of East Haven and her great-great niece Zoey Rosemarie Trickett. Also her longtime friend and caregiver,Jacklyn Trickett-Sargent(John)of East Haven who she also referred to as her niece, and her cousin Robert Deskin of Goodyear,AZ whom she adored. Born Dec.1,1931 in New Haven a daughter of the late Edward F. and Josephine Hein Kennedy, Marilyn was a special person. She was always there for family and friends whenever they needed it,always putting herself second.She was considered a "social butterfly" before her illness,always making sure everyone was ok. Her ability to remember the past was incredible and her stories and memories will be passed on to her descendants. She will be truly missed and was an example of the type of person everyone should strive to be. Funeral service will be Saturday morning at 10:00 in The Old Stone Church, East Haven. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
