In New Haven, Monday, January 9, 2012, Anna Marie Dacunzo-Silvestro, 89, of East Haven. Born in New Haven on August 6, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Frances Travisano-Dacunzo, beloved wife of the late Wilfred L. Silvestro, loving mother of Joseph L. Silvestro and his partner Steven Coad of San Francisco, CA, Marsie (Mary Ann) Silvestro and her partner Robin Anasazi of Kennebunk, ME and Wini (Winifred) Silvestro of San Diego, CA. She is survived by her brother Anthony J. Dacunzo and his wife Jean of Atlanta, Georgia. She was predeceased by her sister Frenchy (Frances) Amore. Anna Marie was the last surviving member of the “Chit Chat Club” a group of 6 women who met at Overbrook School PTA in the 1950’s and continued to meet monthly for over 50 years. She was very active in her local community and was a lunch mother at Gerrish and Overbrook Schools and enjoyed her time working with special needs children. She was a saleswoman at Bradlees store for 25 years. Her children would like to thank all those who helped care for their mom allowing them to fulfill their promise –to have her live in her home until the day she transformed into the Light. Visitation Hours will be Thursday, Jan. 12th , 4-8PM at Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Mass 10 AM on Friday, Jan. 13th, St. Vincent de Paul Church, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
