In Guilford, Jan.10, 2012, Jean Coyle Francis, 91, Formerly of Holmes St. East Haven. Wife of the late Vincent M. Francis. Mother of Charlotte (John) Esposito of East Haven, Gwen (Harold) O’Connor of North Branford and Mark Francis of East Haven. Grandmother of David Esposito, Alicia Tucker, Brian O’Connor, Douglas O’Connor, Kevin O'Connor and Colleen Wiesbrock. Also survived by fourteen great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother John G. Coyle. Born Jan.09, 1921 in New Haven a daughter of the late John and Edna Riggs Coyle, she was a graduate of the former Commercial High School in New Haven.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven, Saturday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 9:00. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5-7pm.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405 or to a charity of one’s choice. Jean's family would like to thank the entire staff of the Apple Rehab (Fowler) in Guilford for the exceptional care they provided.
