In Madison,Feb,13,2012,Claire Baribalt Gentile,94, of Huntington Ave.,New Haven. Wife of the late John A. Gentile Sr. Mother of the late John A. Gentile Jr. and Donna L. Gentile. Sister of Lorraine Genovich of IN,Jacqueline Amato and Valerie Warner,both of Guilford and the late Lucille DePoto,Jean Blanchard,Barbara Cornelius and Patricia Morone.Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born Oct.31,1917 in New Haven a daughter of the late Jules and Alberta Stowe Baribalt, she was a graduate of the former Commercial High School in New Haven and had been employed in a jewelry store for several years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 in St. Vincent de Paul Church, East Haven. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East haven.
