David George Carlson,48,of East Haven passed away peacefully on March 6,2012 after a long illness. Loving son of Nancy Lamson Carlson and the late George Iver Carlson. Father of Shauna Carlson Cacace. Brother of Steven(Laurie)Carlson,Paul(the late Michelle)Carlson,Joanne(Brian)Dostie,Elaine(Vincent)Durso and the late Leslie Jean Carlson. Also survived by several aunts,uncles,nieces,nephews and cousins. Born Sept.20,1963 in New Haven, he was a graduate of East Haven High School,class of 1981 and was employed as a construction worker and mechanic for several area companies.
Funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 in the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday morning prior to the service from 10:00-11:00. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Grant St. Program,62 Grant St., New Haven,CT 06519-2415.
