Obituary of June Marie Sirico

In New Haven,April 15,2012,June Marie Olson Sirico,78,of West Haven. Beloved wife of the late Santo Sirico.Mother of the late Richie Sirico,Kenneth Sirico and Janet McCarthy. Grandmother of Tina(Joe)McCarthy,Daniel McCarthy,Keith Sirico,Andrew Sirico and the late Joseph Zona. Great grandmother of Toni,Sara Rose,Daniel,Kyle,Victoria,Alexandra and Brianna. Sister of the late Donald Olson,Helen Prussing and Dorothy Olson.Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews especially Barbara Walsh of Long Island,NY and her extended family,Roberta and Charlie Hill III,Charlie IV,Timmi,Ricky,Michael,Victoria,Cheyanne-Sky,and Charlie Rose Hill,Jacqueline,Amanda,Joseph and Angelina Tiroletto. Born July 13,1933 in Brooklyn,NY a daughter of the late Daniel and Louise Thornson Olson, she was raised and educated in NY and was employed for many years as a cashier at Expect Discounts Store in East Haven. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love and laughter and as a person who loved music and dancing and spending time with family and friends. June will be missed by all and never forgotten. Junes family would like to thank the Drs,Nurses and Techs at the Hospital of St. Raphael(Celentano 4) who took such wonderful care of her in her final days. Funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7pm.
