Ann V.Norden of East Haven entered into eternal rest on April 20.2012. Born on December 23,1928 in East Haven she was the wife of fifty six years to the late George E. Norden Jr. Daughter of the late Thomas and Mary McGuire and predeceased by her siblings Thomas and William McGuire,Mary Proctor,Cele Corbett and Jane Ehrler. Devoted mother to Katherine(Mark)Toce,Patricia(Nick)Carusone,George(Kim)Norden III,Daniel(Kate)Norden and Timothy(Lisa)Norden.Loving grandmother to Mark and Daniel Toce,George IV and Brooke Norden,Megan Norden Piano ,Patrick,Annie and Maria Carusone,Erin and Emma Norden.Recent great grandmother to McKenna Mae Piano. Mrs Norden was a life-long resident of East Haven and graduated from East Haven High School,Class of 1947. Known as Annie Goat to siblings and friends,she devoted her life to her family.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 9:00am in St. Claire Church,Coe Ave.,East Haven. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to CT Hospice,100 Double Beach Rd., Branford,CT 06405. Ann's family would like to extend a special thank you to Maryjane and the entire staff at Talmadge Park for her care and comfort. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven.
