At home,May 14,2012, Anna Matteo Cedro,85,of Branford went to be with the Angels. Beloved wife of Michael Cedro Sr. Loving mother of Michael Cedro Jr. Sister of Carmel Dennison of East Haven and the late Paulina Fiorillo,Rose Campano, Theresa Fiorillo, Frederick Matteo,James Matteo and Anthony Matteo. Also survived by many nieces,nephews,great nieces and great nephews. Born Nov. 7,1926 in New Haven a daughter of the late Peter and Maria Matteo, Anna was a devout Catholic and let her faith guide her through her life. She was a hard worker from an early age selling vegatables and later working at A.C. Gilbert Co. Anna dedicated her life to her husband and son and was a wonderful cook and baker sharing her dishes with family and friends. She was rennowned for her beautiful fragrant rose garden which she took great pride in. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10:00 in St. Vincent de Paul Church,East Haven. Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery,Branford. There are no calling hours. The Cedro family would like to thank Laura Dolecki for her great caring and compassion through this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ken Crest Services,3160 Park Ave., Bridgeport,CT 06604. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven.
