In Guilford,May 15,2012,Edith Mattei Ferraiolo,96,a lifelong East Haven resident. Wife of the late Frank Ferraiolo. Mother of Frank(Patricia)Ferraiolo of Branford,Virginia(Joseph)Bittner of East Haven,Diane(Gerald)Spadacenta of East Haven and Marie Ferraiolo of CA. Also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers Albert,Dominic,Leon and Michael Mattei. Born Dec.2,1915 in New Haven a daughter of the late Michela and Angelina Dinello Mattei,she was a graduate of the former Commercial High School in New Haven.She had served as a volunteer with the East Haven Food Pantry.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven,Saturday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 10:00. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday morning prior to the Mass from 8:00-9:30. Memorial contributions may be made to the Apple Rehab of Guilford Recreation Memorial Fund, 10 Boston Post Rd.,Guilford,CT 06437
