In New Haven,May23,2012,Robert M. Davis,59,of Main St.,East Haven. Husband of Robbie Damberg Davis. Father of Shanna Davis Lavacca and Matthew M. Davis and his companion Nicole Brown, all of Branford. Grandfather of Sage Lavacca and Matthew R., Gabrielle and Liam Davis. Brother of Wendy Spillane of Cheshire,Cindy Smith of East Haven and the late Bonnie Butler. Born June 27,1952 in New Haven a son of the late Elmer H.and Ruth Smith Davis, he had been employed as an auto body mechanic for the Carriage Shop and Giovanni's Auto Body, both in Branford. He also had worked at J.A. Long Florist in East Haven.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 in East Lawn Cemetery,East Haven. Arrangements are with the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven.
