In Branford,June 6,2012,Harold Bertyll Hall,86,of East Haven. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Allen Hall.Father of Corrine Panagos of Branford,Judith Marzullo of East Haven,Marianne Hall of North Branford,Jean Hall of East Haven and Joyce Hall of East Haven. Grandfather of Theresa Marzullo of East Haven. Brother of the late Gloria Collegan and Margery Kenney.Also survived by several nieces,nephews,great nieces and great nephews. Born April 21,1926 in New Haven a son of the late Harold and Cora Reynolds Hall.He served with the US Navy during WWII. He was employed by the New Haven,New York and Hartford Railroad which became Penn Central and then Conrail for forty three years until his retirement in April 1988.He also worked for a time at Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co. Harold was a life member and past Captain of Bradford Manor Hose Co#4 where he had fifty years of dedicated service. He was also a life member of VFW Post 10186 in Branford, a member of Harry Bartlet Post 89 American Legion in East Haven,the East Haven Senior Citizens and was a communicant of St. Clare Church in East Haven. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven,Monday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clare Church at 10:00. Entombment will follow with military honors in St. Lawrence Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call Sunday from 3-7pm.In lieu of flowers,contributions in memory of Harold can be made to the Bradford Manor Hose Co#4,85 George St.,East Haven,CT 06512.
