In East Haven,June 14,2012,Anne Golebiewski Tyler,98,of East Haven. Wife of the late Robert I. Tyler. Sister of Stanley Golebiewski and wife Betty of Meriden and the late Joseph Golebiewski,Walter Golebiewki,Helen DeCerbo and Sophie Jasuirkowski.Sister in law of Mary Golebiewski of New Haven and Donald DeCerbo of East Haven.Step mother of Robert Tyler Jr. and Jean Tyler,both of Rutland,VT and Helen Hackett of Grannville,NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born March 8,1914 in New London a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Poniatishen Golebiewski,she was employed for a time as a dietician at the former New Haven Hospital and also worked for the former Berger Brothers Co. Anne was a member and volunteer at the East Haven Senior Center and was an avid fan of U-CONN Women's Basketball.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven,Monday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St.Stanislaus Church,New Haven at 10:00. Burial will follow in Northford Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from5-8pm.
