In Branford,June24,2012,George J. Stacy,77,of East Haven.Beloved husband of Shirley I.Burlison Stacy. Father of Beverly Garceau of Meriden,Kathleen Bowers of Naugatuck,Judith Ortscheid of Orange County,CA,Debra Perez of Miami Springs,FL and Robert Atcherson of North Muskegon,MI. Also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.Born April 3,1935 in New Haven a son of the late Ann Simpson Stacy,he was a graduate of Hillhouse High School and was employed for over sixty one years at Perkins Stamp Co. in New Haven.
Friends may call at the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven, Friday from 4-7pm. Service and interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice,100 Double Beach Rd., Branford,CT 06405.
