Obituary of Rose Taupier

In New Haven,July 21,2012,Rose Jedynak Taupier,98,a longtime resident of Pardee Place Extension in East Haven. Beloved wife of the late Armand Taupier. Mother of Roger V.(Susan) Taupier of Orange, Raymond(Frieda)Taupier Sr. of North Haven and Eleanor Michaud of North Haven. Grandmother of Roger Taupier,Lorri Taupier,Raymond Taupier Jr.,Cherise Iaquessa and Paul Taupier. Great grandmother of Stacy Taupier,Todd Iaquessa,Alexandra Iaquessa and Maximilian Taupier. Sister of Helen Mailhot of North Haven and the late Joseph Jedynak,Walter Jedynak,Theresa Rembac,Mary Miller and Anna Muzyka. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by a son in law Ivan Michaud. Born Aug.19,1913 in New Haven a daughter of the late Vincent and Sophie Yachyra Jedynak, she was employed for many years as a seamstress for several area companies. Over the years she had designed and made wedding gowns for several family members. Rose was a faithful member of St. Vincent de Paul Church in East Haven and was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Women's Guild of the church. She had been an active member of the East Haven Senior Citizens who loved bowling and going on trips with her late husband and the other seniors. Rose's main love was her family and her home was the focal point for family gatherings,especially on Sundays when the whole family would gather at her house for a great meal and family activities. Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Vincent de Paul Church at 11:00. Entombment will follow in All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-7pm.
