Gladys M.Nardini "Daisy" Thomas of East Haven passed away peacefully with family at her side,August 23,2012 at the age of 87. Born in New Haven on May 18,1925 to Demetrio and Nancy Coppola Nardini, she had been employed for many years at Yale University in the custodial dept. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald L."Whitey"Thomas and the mother of Kathleen Thomas of MD,Michael Thomas of East Haven and Joseph (Kathy) Thomas of North Branford. Grandmother of Deonna and Alyssa Thomas.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven.Saturday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church at 9:00. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Friday(TODAY) from 4;00-6:30. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc.,2911 Dixwell Ave.,Hamden,CT 06518.
