In CT. Hospice August 25, 2012 Bobby L. Nelson 71, of East Haven. Beloved husband of RoseMarie Kloeppner Nelson. Loving father of Madeline Ellen Nelson & Rose M. Nelson both of East Haven, grandfather of Camden Michael Nelson of East Haven, brother of Carl Nelson (Karen Brewster) of N. Carolina, Theodore Nelson (Deborah Shrewberry) of Mt. Hope, VA., Gloria Peck of Mt. Hope, VA., Patty (Randy) Fyre of N. Carolina and Debbie Williams of Beckley, W. VA. Predeceased by a brother Stanley Nelson. Bobby was born in Whitesville, W. Virgina February 19, 1941 son of the late Theodore C. & Ellen Mae (Bruno) Nelson. Prior to his retirement he was a welder for Tilcon. Mr. Nelson was a US Army veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
Funeral from Clancy Funeral Home 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven Thursday at 9 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Josephs Church, Edwards St. New Haven. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 - 8 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions to American Cancer Society 825 Brook St. I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT. 06067 or to Kidney Foundation of America 1250 Broadway Suite 2001, NY, NY. 10003.
