In East Haven September 24, 2012 Janet R. Girimonte Geraci, 79, of East Haven. Loving mother of Frank Girimonte of Clinton, Doreen Girimonte Stiles of New Haven and Janet Girimonte Pietruszka of Hartford, sister of Helen Nigro (John) of East Haven. Loving grandmother of Rick and Frank Pietruszka, Steven Drenyoczky, Brittani and Linzee Girimonte and Amber Stiles, great grandmother of Ricky and Mark Pietruszka, Frank Pietruszka, Jr. Andriamarie Girimonte, Monica and Janessa Pietruszka. Also survived by a sister in law Peppina D'Andrea. Predeceased by her first husband Frank Girimonte, a brother Gus D'Andrea, and sisters Antoinette Cappella and Raychel DeFillippo. Janet was born in Brooklyn, NY August 12, 1933 daughter of the late William and Mary Barbata D'Andrea. Prior to her retirement she worked for the former Echlin Manufacturing.
Funeral services are Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Clancy Funeral Home 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven. Friends may call Saturday from 4 p.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Talmadge Park Residents Fund, 38 Talmadge Ave. East Haven, 06512.
