In Hospice, October 15, 2012, Frank Colafati formerly of Morris Cove, father of Donna Bigda of New Haven, Linda Colafati of No.Branford, Susan Serio of Madison, Marie Colafati of Seymour, Frank Colafati of Fla. and David Colafati of Cheshire; also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Colafati was pre deceased by three sisters, Cathryn Mazzarella, Mary Seigle, Carol D'Amato and four brothers, George, Ralph, Alphonse and Dominic Colafati. Frank was born in New Haven, September 29, 1926, son of the late Raphael and Rose Nazzaro Colafati. He was, before his retirement, owner and Operator of the former F & M Motors of New.Haven, He was an Army veteran of WW II, a member of the Annex YMA and a former football player for the former East Shore Sandlot Football League.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Vincent De Paul Church, Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial in St. Agnes Cemetery. The will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Conn. Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, 06405.
