In East Haven,Oct.24,2012,Angelo T. Simione,91, of New Haven. Beloved husband of Josephine Rubino Simione. Father of Rosalie M. Petrowski and husband Frank of East Haven.Brother of Cathy Sabatino and husband Allan of Milford and the late Clement,Fiore and Michael Simione. Brother in law of Jennie Simione of North Haven and Ann and Anthony Bianca of New Haven. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born Feb.28,1921 in New Haven a son of the late Michael and Rose Montagna Simione, he served with the US Army during WWII and was employed for over thirty years as a mechanic with the US Postal Service. He was a communicant of St. Bernadette Church in New Haven.
Funeral from the Clancy Funeral Home,43 Kirkham Ave.,East Haven, Saturday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernadette Church at 10:00. Burial will follow with military honors in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30. Memorial contributions may be made to Apple Rehab-Laurel Woods Patient Fund,451 North High St.,East Haven,CT 06512.
