In Guilford, December 3, 2012 Carmela D'Addio "Mamie" DiMarzo 92, of East Haven. Wife of the late Louis DiMarzo. Loving mother of Linda (Gerald)Giammattei of East Haven, and Louis DiMarzo of East Haven. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Gerald (Jessica) Giammattei, Valerie (Hugo) Mendez, Louis DiMarzo and great grandchildren Erin, Patrick, and Elizabeth Giammattei, Gianna and Logan Mendez and Landon DiMarzo. Predeceased by brothers Joseph, James, Ralph and Pasquale D'Addio and sisters Catherine Raffone and Elizabeth Vigliotti. Carmela was born in New Haven January 3, 1920 daughter of the late Marco and Christine (Caputo) D'Addio. Prior to her retirement she was a Lab Technician for Yale University.
Funeral from Clancy Funeral Home 43 Kirkham Ave. East Haven, Wednesday at 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Vincent de Paul Church. Burial in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 - 10:00. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Alzheimers Association 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, 06067.
