Obituary of Frances M. Piscitelli

Frances M. Casale Piscitelli, 100 years of age, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2012 at Branford Hills Health Center. She was born July 6, 1912 in New York City a daughter of the late Vincent and Theresa Casale and had been employed for many years as a seamstress for several local dress factories and had also owned her own shop Lenore Fashions in New Haven. She was the wife of the Vincent “Jim “ Piscitelli. She was also predeceased d by her daughters Lenore Testa and Angel Brangi, a grandson Stephen Piscitelli a brother Pat Casale and wife Lena and her beloved sisters Geraldine, Mary, Lena, Fannie and Flosie. She leaves her son Vincent Piscitelli and wife Carol of Guilford, granddaughters Lisa and husband Peter Niziolek,Deborah and husband Stephan Mierzwa, grandsons Jonathon,Brangi,Mark Piscitelli, Bruce Testa and Wayne Testa. Great grandchildren Edward Garlick and his wife Agnes, Cheryl Garlick, Michael Piscitelli, Erica Testa and Danielle Testa. Great granddaughter Myra Garlick and many nieces and nephews including her muched loved niece and her husband Dolores and Jerry Battapaglia. Graveside service will be held Saturday morning at 9:30 in East Lawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Frances family would like to give their heartfelt love and thanks to all the caregivers on the third floor of the Branford Hills H.C.C. their true love, kindness and care for Frances will never be forgotten. Also many thanks to the Hospice nurses that helped at the end. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances honors to the Branford Hills H.C.C. 189 Alps Rd., Branford, Ct 06450.
