Michael H. Fadden Jr., 60 of North Haven, passed away April 27, 2013. He was born February 3, 1953 in Derby to Michael Sr. and Florence (Winters) Fadden. Michael is preceded in death by father and infant brother, Thomas. He is survived by mother, Florence, son, Michael A. Fadden of North Haven, sister, Patricia Rimkunas (Walter) of Seymour and nephew, Thomas Rimkunas. Michael grew up in Seymour. He attended Seymour Elementary Schools and was a 1970 Graduate of Notre Dame High School, West Haven. In 1974, he received a BA degree in Psychology from Boston College. He also attained a Master’s Degree in Counseling from SCSU. He worked for The State of CT and Birmingham Health Services as a Social Work Supervisor. Michael was a very caring person who was committed to helping others less fortunate particularly brain injured individuals and the elderly. He especially enjoyed vacationing in Maine and attending concerts with his son Michael. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Funeral Mass on Friday, May 3, 2013 in St. Augustine Church, 35 Washington Ave., Seymour, CT at 11 AM with Committal to follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. Funeral service in the care of Clancy Funeral Home, East Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to BHCare, c/o Arlene, 435 E. Main St., Ansonia, CT 06401 in memory of Michael H. Fadden Jr.
