Gaetano “Guy” Bimonte, 88 of East Haven, passed away May 5, 2013. He was born January 1, 1925 in New Haven to Anthony and Theresa (Caprara) Bimonte. Guy is preceded in death by parents, daughter, Diane Collins, brothers, Anthony Leone, Orlando Leone, Vera Ioveino, Sebastian Bimonte, Michael Bimonte and Joseph Bimonte. Guy is survived by loving wife of 66 years, Anna (DePino) Bimonte and children; Joann Morra (Joe), Theresa Blanchard (Robert), Marianne Bimonte, Guy Bimonte Jr. (Katie) all of East Haven. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Joseph Morra, Chris Morra, Kathy Collins, Cheryl Collins, Robert Blanchard (fiancé Anna), Debbie Blanco (Allen), two great grandchildren; Isabella and Mia Blanco and son-in-law, John Collins. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Clancy Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Funeral procession will leave Clancy Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Clare Church, East Haven. Committal to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
